The secret to more enjoyable use of the TS-130S, TS-130SE, TS-130V, TS-530S, TS-530SP, TS-830S, TS-830M transceivers.
This stable & accurate synthesized VFO will allow drift free and accurate (within 100 Hz. by digital readout) operation.
Has it's own digital readout - keeping confusion down on split operation.
The VFO actually tunes in 20 Hz. steps (no stepping heard while tuning SSB). The readout however, only reads down to 100 hz.
Tunes 25 Khz. per revolution - the same as the analog VFO - however, can be easily modified to tune in 6.25 Khz. per revolution tuning.
Unit above is shown with optional KB-1 anodized aluminum tuning knob.
Matches nicely with the TS-530 & TS-830S transceivers (ie...same height & color scheme).
Easy access to "zero" adjustment through rear of VFO - requires very little adjustment after initial alignment.
Synthesized stepped tuning from 5.4 - 6.1 Mhz. (a bit more than the internal VFO).
Also has five (5) programmable fixed memory channels.
